. a survey for solace .

August 16, 2011

Hey loves.

I had kind of a rough day. I don’t really want to go into too much detail until I know more about what’s going on, but I will say that it involves Kaiah, an emergency visit to the vet, and my baby having to stay there overnight. Will not cry. Will not cry. Will not…. damn.

*deep breath*

I wasn’t originally going to post today, but I need something to distract me from my thoughts, and since reading, exercise, and trashy TV have failed to provide my mind with the solace that it needs, I figured that I’d turn to blogging for salvation, while simultaneously drowning my sorrows in chocolate…

Chocolate pudding spiked with cocoa powder and topped with almond butter.

Tori posted this survey on her blog a little while back, and I figured that today was as good a day as any to fill it out myself. Hopefully everything turns out alright with Ky so that I can have double reason to celebrate tomorrow, it being WIAW and all. Have a good night, loves, and I’ll try to do the same. Will not cry. Will not cry. Will not… damn.

. – . – . – .

What is on your desktop wallpaper? This…

. – . – . – .

What is your favorite drink? This…

Black coffee, straight up; no cream, no sugar. I try to limit myself to 1-2 cups a day, but daaaaang do I look forward to those cups.

. – . – . – .

What was your favorite toy as a child? This guy…

I got him in NYC when I was 3 years old. He cost $1 and became priceless to me.

. – . – . – .

What food do you eat too much of? None. Too much means excess, excess means more than you need, and more than you need means that you wouldn’t be craving it like crazy every. single. day (greed notwithstanding, of course). I do, however, eat a lot of oatmeal…

… and that’s not even counting dessert…

. – . – . – .

What kind of hairstyle do you have? The kind that is desperately in need of a hair cut and is thrown into a messy low bun as an attempt to hide its owner’s negligence. Oh, and bangs that are always in my face…

Old picture. Same sad face.

. – . – . – .

What was your favorite activity in gym class? Dodgeball…

Dodge. Duck. Dip. Dive. Dodge.

. – . – . – .

What is on the shirt you’re wearing right now? Erm. Nothing. It’s blank. It’s dark grey. It’s the Cool Racerback from Lululemon. Love.

. – . – . – .

What are the three most played songs in your iTunes library? Switchback – Celldweller , Life is Beautiful – Sixx A.M., Whatever – Godsmack

. – . – . – .

What is the picture nearest you of? I’m blogging from outside, so… none. But here’s a picture of a face that I’m missing like crazy and should be near me but isn’t 😦

. – . – . – .

What do you do on a Sunday night? The same thing I do every night [Pinky]. Try to take over the world! (name that show). But really… the same thing I do every night. Blog, snack, read, relax, pass out around 10:30. Yes, I’m a wild one.

. – . – . – .

If you could only use one condiment on your food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Ketchup, hands down.

Sometimes I crave it so bad that I swear I make fries just as an excuse to eat it.

. – . – . – .

What color are your sheets? The sheet covering my bed is black, while my duvet covers are… dark purple-y? I’m looking for new ones for when I move into my new place, but I still have no idea what color scheme I want to go with…

. – . – . – .

How big is your computer display? The laptop is 15, the desktop is 24.

. – . – . – .

What pair of shoes do you wear most often? I don’t like shoes…

Butttt since the thought of walking around the city barefoot completely skeeves me out, I put on my Sketchers to run errands, and some heels when I feel like getting glammed up.

. – . – . – .

What is your favorite game? This one…

We’re not even gonna talk about how much of my life I lost to this game 😆

. – . – . – .

What time do you plan on waking up tomorrow? I don’t ever really plan on waking up at a specific time. I haven’t been woken up by an alarm clock in years… my body just naturally wakes up anywhere between 5-6.

. – . – . – .

Do you handle it well when your pets (or loved ones) are sick?

What are the top 3 songs on your iTunes?

What foods do you eat a lot of?

      • August 17, 2011 10:36 am

Haha I used to in high school, it’s actually ridiculous how much time I spent playing that and other computer games. Girl gamers are the best 😉

Oh man, I feel your sorrow with the vet situations. Having rats is my love and passion, but they live so much less than we do and are susceptible to so many health problems. Vinny, for instance, has been in the vet for a neuter, surgery for an abscess on his jaw, severe lice, and dermatitis. Other arts I’ve had have had similar multiple health issues– my theory is that they have been tested on by humans so much that it makes them more susceptible to more health conditions. I really hope Kaiah will be ok– just keep eating the pudding and almond butter and everything will work out!

My current three favorite songs is…… Sari by Nellie Mckay, Marry the Night by Lady gaga, and On the Floor by JLo  (as much as I wished I didn’t like pop music, I do! It’s really motivating on bike rides and runs!)

  4. August 16, 2011 6:17 pm

I hope everything is alright with Kaiah! I’m loving your top songs, I’ve got them playing now, and since no one else is the house I got them blasting and I’m about to go dance in the kitchen. It’s quite a stress reliever, if you need something more to distract yourself, you should try it 🙂

  5. August 16, 2011 6:19 pm

Lately I’ve been eating a lot of yogurt, quesadillas, chocolate, and bananas. (but not all together). 😉 I’ve been in kind of a cooking slump, but maybe that’s cause it’s summer and I don’t want to spend much time cooking.

    I hope Kaiah’s better soon!

So sorry to hear about your baby–sending positive thoughts your way!

I find it so weird that people can be so attached to ketchup. I have never liked it. Ever. But when I was younger I put Bull’s Eye barbeque sauce on everything. I have to admit though, I tend to avoid all condiments now (the ED-controlled part of me feels it’s a waste of calories).

  7. August 16, 2011 6:32 pm

Oh, no – you’ve got me worried about your girl now! I am crossing my fingers that everything works out just fine and that she is a-ok. I know how scary and stressful it is for our babies to be sick! Thinking of you two!

  8. August 16, 2011 6:37 pm

Oh Amanda, I’m so sorry. I lost my precious dog suddenly last year and it was so so hard 😦 I hope your pup is okay!

  9. August 16, 2011 6:43 pm

Strangely enough, my kitten just took a high fall off the balcony this morning, and had to be taken to the vet. He’s on pain medication now, but luckily he’s okay. He lost those fun balcony privileges, though. I hope everything with Kaiah turns out alright. If you need someone to vent to, you can always email me!

Foods I eat a lot of…apples, peanut butter, cereal, the same vegan takeout from the same place alllll the time (and I wonder where my money goes…), Larabars, hummus, gluten-free English muffins, brown rice bread. The list could go on forever! I’m such a repetitive eater.

  10. August 16, 2011 6:46 pm

I don’t handle it well, but I guess I handle it as well as anyone else. I’m sorry your baby’s sick. Good luck taking your mind off of it until you can find out more.

Interesting survey – I’ve never heard anyone use the “ketchup” answer before.

You and Kaiah are in my thoughts, keep your chin up:)
There are a LOT of foods that I eat a lot of- cottage cheese , bananas, COOKIE DOUGH BALLS, butternut squash…ill stop cos this list could get looooong.
My hair is always a messy bun thrown on top of my head- clearly that style is where its at.
I basically like your stereotypical pop music. Lots of Lady Gaga, The Wanted, Katy Perry- think cheezy!
    Xxx

    • August 16, 2011 9:22 pm

I’ve had Katy Perry’s ET stuck in my head for like a week now. I just find myself randomly starting to sing it throughout the day. Good thing I like it 😉

This is SO neat! I just love reading surveys 🙂
I’m so sad to hear about your pup, I’ll be praying for your beautiful Kaiah! I get oober sad when my pets are sick, I can’t bear to see them in pain.
    Top 3 songs–all Keith Urban haha 😀
Foods I eat a ton of–cottage cheese, sunbutter, apples, broccoli YUM!!!

  14. August 16, 2011 6:58 pm

Yay! More surveys! Three most played songs on my iPod are Bleed it Out by Linkin Park, Collide by Howie Day and Cotton Eye Joe! 🙂 🙂

I eat too much nut butter and chocolate – but I don’t see anything wrong with it!

  15. August 16, 2011 7:07 pm

I’m so sorry about your dog, love! I hope everything is ok! When my pets and loved ones are sick, how I handle it depends on how sick they are. However, to the outside world I usually look like I’m handling it better than I am on the inside. I tend to keep things bottled up. I definitely eat a lot of oatmeal :), cereal, nut butter, greek yogurt, apples, bananas, and broccoli!

  16. August 16, 2011 7:15 pm

I LOVE your taste in music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, that many exclamation marks were needed.)

Sorry about your puppy. I hope she’s okay. =[

Prayers for Kaiah! Oh no…feel better bright feather.

LOVE the “food you eat too much of”

  18. August 16, 2011 7:19 pm

Sending you lots of love and love to your pup, I know everything will be ok , saying prayers : )

Love the godsmack on the playlist, love them!

So cute u still have that stuffed animal from that long ago!

    Love ya girl!! Xoxo

  19. August 16, 2011 7:19 pm

Oh girlie I’m so sorry about your lovely doggy! I don’t handle my dogs being sick well. At all. Any time I see anyone (or thing) in pain, I can feel it. Such a strange sensation. I hate to watch anyone suffer! My dogs are getting old, and I’m so nervous something could happen to them!

I eat a lot of… well, you know. Oatmeal. HAHA!

GIRRRLLLL we still haven’t done our in-game meet-up! We must get on that! I’ve lost… years to that game. Years. But I enjoyed the heck out of every second! Perhaps too much? Eeep.

  20. August 16, 2011 7:27 pm

I hate it when animals suffer. It is even harder when it is your own little buddy. I know what it’s like and I hope Kaiah is better soon, running around your backyard.

Yay for Godsmack! I keep listening to them every now and then. My iTunes is a lonely place with 2 CDs and 5 other songs inside but my Last.fm profile says that I am listening to Plumb, Evanescence and Poets of the Fall quite a lot.

  21. August 16, 2011 7:32 pm

Sorry you had such a rough day- im praying that everything is OK with Kaiah! I adore animals and when a pet is sick its like a family member is ill! Hang in there!
Loved the answers to your survey – you can never eat too much oatmeal or dessert in my book!
p.s. – i too hate shoes ! Thats what i love most about the summer – walking barefoot in freshly moved grass!

  22. August 16, 2011 7:39 pm

I can’t believe dodge ball was your favorite. I HATED that game and would avoid going any where near that ball at all costs 😛

Sorry about your puppy. My dog and I are so close that I can’t imagine him getting sick or going to the vet overnight. Fingers crossed Kiah can get through this. *HUGS*

  23. August 16, 2011 7:50 pm

I’m so sorry to hear about your baby girl. My thoughts are with her! It’s so hard having an animal be sick. 😦
I eat too much bread…and pasta…and just carbs. There I said it. Whatevs, I love the stuff!

  24. August 16, 2011 7:52 pm

When my loved ones are sick, I just make sure they know I’m there for them. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you 😦

  25. August 16, 2011 7:56 pm

So sorry about your dog 😦 When my dog was sick it was just such a horrible time for me.
And yea I definitely eat a bit too much oatmeal and cereal 🙂

  26. August 16, 2011 8:12 pm

A girl after my own heart– dodgeball AND oatmeal!?

I’m so sorry about Kaiah. I know how difficult it can be to have trouble with a sick animal ❤ I will be praying for you, girlie.

  27. August 16, 2011 8:16 pm

I hope your dog is better by tomorrow! I would say “poor thing”, but I don’t really know what is going on. I am so sorry.

When I am depressed I eat way to much chocolate. Fine. I eat a lot of chocolate in general. Too much in general? That is debatable. 🙂

My top 3 songs would be Empty Chairs at Empty Tables from Les Mis, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and Dream A Little Dream of Me both by Michael Buble. Musicals, Jazz, and Christmas music are my thangs!

  28. August 16, 2011 8:21 pm

Sending you good thoughts!!! Looked like a fun survey though ❤

  29. August 16, 2011 8:48 pm

Your dog is PRECIOUS. I hope everything is okay! Worrying about dogs is almost harder than worrying about people. Keep your head up girl!
Oatmeal, cereal, and salsa are things I eat wayyyyy too much of. *hopefully* my taste buds never tire of those beautiful foods.

  30. August 16, 2011 8:56 pm

Oh girl, GIRL! I am SO sorry!!! If my fur babies were sick, I would be a MESS! My heart goes out to you and your puppy… hoping and praying everything will be ok!

  33. August 16, 2011 9:18 pm

    WoW = <3.
    Horde or alliance? :]

Also, ketchup is amazing. Best condiment ever.

I hope Kaiah is okay! I'm sure she will be, but any sort of ailment with an animal is so hard. :[ Hope your day tomorrow is better.

  34. August 16, 2011 9:22 pm

Just hope for the best while expecting the worst. It just makes any news good news. I hope your doggie is okay! I wish we got another after my dog passed away but we never did. My moms a bit stubborn in that area. :-/

Top 3 songs… I think they’d be all by Brand New, most likely… Maybe Jimmy Eat World – “The Middle” is thrown in there.

I am absolutely addicted to oatmeal. Hands down. I crave it all the time… Just ate some actually. 🙂

And I never got into WOW, thank god. Call of Duty and Counter Strike definitely consumed my high school life. Along with Kingdom Hearts for PS2. I miss those days.

  35. August 16, 2011 9:26 pm

😦 So sorry to hear about Kaiah! I hope everything will be okay and you two will be reunited tomorrow. Crossing my fingers everything is okay!

Ketchup is definitely one of my favorite condiments. As much as I love fries, sometimes I have to say the ketchup makes the fries! It’s just that goooood!
I don’t know that I eat any foods too much in particular. I eat almost the same foods everyday, so i guess I eat them a lot?
I don’t think I’ve turned on my itunes in months so I have no idea what my top three songs are. But i think its about time to find out 🙂

  36. August 16, 2011 9:41 pm

aww i hope everything goes well with the pup. I know that is not fun to deal with but I’m sure they are taking amazing care of him!!

Oh man, I do NOT handle dealing with sick pets very well… AT ALL. I’m a huge animal lover and my pets are usually one of my closest family members. In fact, when one of my parrots died over 2 years ago, it made my ED so much worse… I felt so alone when my bird died. It was a very dark time for me, and to this day, it’s hard to think about. When the bird that I have now got sick a few times recently, it was extremely rough to deal with as well…

So I completely understand how you feel right now… it’s so important to think positive thoughts though. I truly believe there’s some sort of energy that can radiate through and be passed along! So keep your little doggie in your prayers and have faith, girl!

Top 3 songs? Oh man… I’m starting to revert back to the old stuff that I liked… Spice Girls, and old school Britney Spears…. hahaha. ANYWAY…. foods I eat a lot of? Fruits (grapes, apples, bananas, cantaloupe) and chocolate!

  38. August 16, 2011 10:15 pm

Oatmeal is the BEST! I’m sorry your day was rough. Always know that we are here for you no matter what! 🙂

  39. August 16, 2011 10:18 pm

I found myself nodding in agreement to so many of your survey answers.. then I got to WoW and giggled a bit. I used to play it for many years, and everyone always looks at me funny when they find out. Glad I’m not the only one out there who enjoys a bit of WoW now and then!

oh man, I used to eat ketchup like it was my job but not it doesn’t have the same appeal… one day I just stopped wanting it, weird! Not a day goes by where I do not consume tons of hummus, dark chocolate, broccoli, pancakes and nut butter, bananas, and copious berries when they don’t require me to go into debt 😉
Sending huge hugs and well wishes to you are your pup! My doggy is basically my best friend so I can only imagine how rough it is right now, keep up the positive thoughts. Keeping busy tends to help me, reading, painting my nails, cleaning, baking, a long chat with a friend. Hang in there dollface!

  41. August 16, 2011 10:47 pm

I love your desktop wallpaper! So cute!!
And I love that your favorite class in gym was dodgeball! I used to love kickball! WIsh I still had people to play with!!

  45. August 17, 2011 12:03 am

Sorry about your pet. Even though I don’t have one of my own, I can imagine how stressful/upsettting it must be! I love your oatmeal pcs, always drool-worthy! Eggs and oats are 2 things I eat a lot of…not excess as u said but a lot!…oh and apples, bananas and peanut butter!

  46. August 17, 2011 12:14 am

I’m so sorry you and doggie are in my prayers!! I like your haircut, youre so pretty!! I love your philosophy about eating too much of a food. That being said I eat alot butternut squash and Frozen yogurt!! The top of my Itunes right now is Superbass by Nicki Minaj, It Girl by Jason Derulo, and Good Life by One Republic. Yea….my music taste is all over the place 🙂

  47. August 17, 2011 12:38 am

I am so sorry to hear about Kaiah. I’m praying for a speedy recovery from whatever the ailment may be. Hang in there, girl.

Ketchup is near and dear to my heart–love love love it. In 9th grade speech class we were asked to pick any topic and deliver a 30-minute speech about it. While most students chose a person, sport or activity, I chose a condiment. Ha! Even if the class thought my topic was a bit strange, they most definitely enjoyed the various ketchups brought in for them to sample (accompanied by French fries, of course!). 🙂

Foods I eat a lot of/on a daily basis: cottage cheese, egg whites, asparagus, garlic (tooons), granola (more specifically toasted oats with a touch of honey or agave–no other “frills”), goat cheese, laughing cow cheese, avocado/guacamole and ice cream (I go through about a quart each week. No joke).

    Take care, girlie. ❤

  48. August 17, 2011 2:42 am

Your doggy is in my thoughts 🙂

I’m afraid I never did handle well when my pets were sick either. I didn’t take their passings too well either. My poor babies 😦

Top 3 songs on my iTunes: All of them are Coldplay songs haha.

I eat a lot of…actually come to think of it I don’t eat a lot of anything. I guess at the moment it would be rice. I’m having rice every night!

    xxx

  49. August 17, 2011 3:29 am

Oh I am so so sorry to hear your dogs poorly, sending lots of positive vibes to both of you. I definitely find that blogging is really helpful when I’m stressed as it somehow allows me to debunk my day and talk about how I’m feeling with people who are mostly very supportive. I really hope your ok and your dog has a very speedy recovery 🙂

  50. August 17, 2011 3:58 am

NOOOO I’m so sorry girl!! I TOTALLY understand and every time Buddy’s sick and has to stay at the vets I just curl up on the sofa with food and watch feel-good movies, so you’re much more productive than I am! 😛

I eat a LOT of nut butter and chocolate!! Every day, multiple times, without fail hehe 😉

  51. August 17, 2011 4:27 am

Oh sweetie, Kaiah is in my thoughts. Stay positive because your baby needs you to stay strong and wouldn’t want to be upset because I know pets don’t like it when their owners get upset 🙂 I’m sure everything will work out and you’ll be back together in no time 🙂 I really don’t handle my pets getting ill or anything well though. They are the love of my life and I stress so much about them whenever anything is wrong, I literally can’t focus on anything. But pets are part of the family so it’s only natural…
And I totally agree with you – you can never eat too much of one thing if you love it and makes you happy! I eat squash probably too much for a normal person’s standards but it never fails to make me happy 🙂 Same with muffins, fruit, dried fruit and peanut butter 😛 Never get enough!

I eat a lot of squash, and right now I’m going through a phase of eating a lot of eggs, but as you said, saying that I eat too many of them would imply that I eat more than I need, and I don’t. I just eat quite a bit more of them than most people.

  53. August 17, 2011 4:46 am

Awe girl. I’m so sorry to hear about your puppy dog<3 I hope everything goes okay. She's absolutely gorgeous.
I always think blogging and doing surveys can help get my mind off of the rough things 🙂

I try to be strong/take care of them when my loved ones are sick. When my animals are sick it's another story I'm just a complete mess all crying and snotty.

I eat way too much cottage cheese, sweet potatos, and cereal. but it doesn't bother me. If I get tired of it I just take a break and I'll find my love for them again 🙂

  54. August 17, 2011 5:51 am

Oh poor Kaiah! I’m so sorry about this girl, I can’t even imagine how upset you must be. Hang in there and I’m sure everything will be okay. 🙂

I eat tons of bananas, Greek yogurt, Kashi Honey Almond Flax, tomatoes, and hummus. I eat most of these almost every day!!

My top played songs are “Something Pretty” by Patrick Park, “Winter”by Joshua Radin, and “Into Dust” by Mazzy Star.

It’s been a very long time since any of my friends or family have been seriously ill. Actually I was in the hospital in February with an eye infection. Recently an ex-classmate died very suddenly and I spent a day in my bed with my ipod. I too eat lots of oatmeal but probably more hummus. 🙂 Sorry you had a bad day!! I hope your baby will be okay.

I hope Kaiah gets better soon. I hope everything turns out okay for her and all your family.

Not sure I should be releasing some of my highest played songs to the world but maybe it’ll make you laugh! 3 of my top 25: Clog Dance by Herold, Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits and The Village Green Preservation Society by The Kinks.

I hope Kaiah gets better ❤

I have over 200 days played on WoW… now that is a lot of time wasted… especially since it was only from one character… I don't even know how much time I have on my other characters.

My first experience with a pet being sick was my hamster, I had him for three years and he quickly became the most important thing in my life. He ended up having breathing problems, and not wanting this $7.00 pet (which was muuuuuch more valuable than that) we paid to get him put down, even though he only had a few short hours left in him, I just couldn't allow him to suffer more than he needed. I definitely didn't handle it well, I cried for a loooong time, but now when I look at pictures, I remember the huge impact that teeny tiny creature made in my life. I don't think you handle it well when your pets (or loved ones) are sick? Whether it's a human or a pet, I have a really difficult time dealing with people who are sick.

The Cave – Mumford & Sons
    Falling to Pieces – Breakeven
Walking on a Dream – Empire of the Sun

I eat a tonnnnnnn of pineapple, bananas, coconut, cinnamon (not a food technically, but y'know it should be 😉 ), sweet potatoes and tofu!!

Oh no, I hope your gorgeous doggie is okay… she will be. Vets do amazing things. ❤

I admit I lose it a bit when my dog is ill. But my sister is a vet and she keeps us level-headed which helps a lot, since she is emotionally-invested too but can remain calm. Think positively!
Top three songs… as in most played?
City of Blinding Lights – U2
Only Want to Be With You – Hootie and the Blowfish
    Rosanna – Toto
    … yeah, I'm a bit old-school with music. You wouldn't think I was 24.
I admit I still do eat too many veggies… I really do love them but it is too much. It's habit almost too I think, from early-recovery. Hard cycle to break but I am getting there!
    Love your laptop background, hehe!

Aww Amanda I am praying for Kaiah! I truly believe she will be better quite soon, vets can certainly do amazing things!
My cat is quite old and lately has been taking a turn for the worst. We got him when I was 4 years old and I am almost 22… so yes he is getting on in his years!! It’s so sad to see him have trouble moving around and other things… 😦
Top three songs: all Rascal Flatts songs! ha
I eat a lot of fruit and nuts/nut butter! Each and everyday these things will make an appearance

Aw I’m so sorry about your doggy not being well! I really hope everything turns out fine. Mine wasn’t doing so well either last week. She was sick and refused to eat. She seems to be doing better now, but I really don’t take that type of stuff well. Stay positive! I’m sure Kaiah will need your support now more than ever :]
Foods I eat a lot of would be oatmeal and fruit 😀 I’ve always wondered if WOW is a fun game. I never really got into any video games. So many people seem to play it though. There must be something about it. I’m getting more and more interested in it. I don’t know if that’s a good thing haha.

Hehe WoW is a fun game for sure, but also quite a life-suck. I don’t play it nearly as much as I used to, but it’s always nice to have something to turn to when I’m feeling bored or need a distraction.

Sorry to hear about your pup! I’m sure he’ll be so happy to see you when he comes home!!

I’m really, really bad when my animals get sick. An absolute wreck, actually. Michael texted me this morning saying Chloe was throwing up and I almost left school to head back home and make sure she was okay. I would have if he hadn’t texted me saying she stopped and coughed up a super gross hairball. But really, for those 20 minutes I couldn’t concentrate a bit.

I totally get ketchup cravings too!!! So I usually grab something out of the fridge that I can just cover in ketchup and eat it!

Girl, I just want to jump through the computer and give you a *huge* hug. I definitely don’t handle it well when loved ones are sick…I just dwell and try and occupy myself. I usually end up making get-well gift baskets or cards and that sometimes makes me feel a little better. ALSO just eat some more chocolate, that usually always makes me feel better 100% of the time:) Your puppy’s in my thoughts!

I eat a TON of greek yogurt, bread (my diet is essentially one big carb), and fro-yo!!!

Sweetie……I’m sending you and Kaiah good thoughts and hugs. I hope all is well when you wake up tomorrow. I love reading your blog – you are such a talented writer and I think you should write “Messy Oats” – a recipe book on oat bowl combos – I love looking at your pics of them! Take care and lots of love xx

Oh no, I hope everything turns out okay with the pup. This was a fun post, nonetheless. I have had a very similar coral type color on my toes all summer. I love it!

found you through Lauren….thought I’d creep. LOVE your dog. SO adorable. I love hairy fluffy big awesome dogs that look like friendly wolves ❤

WHERE did you get that mac background??!! It’s beautiful!

Also your dog is precious and I am so glad she’s going to be okay. Just feed her well and give her lots of love, as well as many checkups with the vet — if anything is wrong, you’ll want to catch it early. I learned that the hard way 😦

Hope your little kid gets better fast! Cry your eyes out. It’s the worst when that stuff happens, changes everything in just one moment.
