. feeling fallish .

August 9, 2011

EeeeeEeeEeEEE. 37 days and counting πŸ˜€

Sorry. I promise not to be this unbearably annoying over the course of the next 5 weeks, I just tend to get a little overly excited. So much so, that I’ll use any excuse I can find to stalk my new digs…

Decaf with a splash of soy.

There’s a Starbucks literally 20 feet from the front of my new building, so when my real estate agent called me after dinner last night and told me that she needed me to sign some papers (ugh when will it end?!), I may or may not have casually suggested that we meet there…

Feels like home already πŸ˜€

Feels like Fall, too; or maybe that’s just wishful thinking. The weather outside still screams summer…

… but inside it’s beginning to feel a lot like Fall, which might explain why I was hit with an intense craving for pumpkin this morning – a craving that I knew justΒ how to satisfy…

I whipped up a simple pumpkin pudding by blending togetherΒ Β½ cup of canned pumpkin,Β ΒΌ cup of almond milk, 1 medjool date, and a few dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. I paired that with a pimped-out rice cake that was topped with almond butter and honey…

… and kicked my cravings and hunger to the curb. Boom!

Fall-ish feelings might also explain why I got bit by the baking bug this afternoon…

[Blissful Banana Bread with chocolate chips]

There’s nothing I love more than being in a warm kitchen on a crisp Fall day, and while today was anything but crisp, and my kitchen was closer to sweltering than it was to warm, the results were more than worth the sweat-fest…

And, yes, I realize that there’s nothing Fall-ish about reindeer plates, but Fall also means that Christmas is that much closer, and who doesn’t love Christmas? πŸ˜€

Summer is swell, but I’m more than ready for Fall. The beautiful colors. The coziness. The intoxicating smell in the air… only 43 more days to go…Β and 37 more days ’till I move. EeeEeeEEE!

See you guys tomorrow for WIAW!

. – . – . – .

School/work aside, what’s your favorite season and why?

What’s your favorite thing to order at Starbucks?Β I’ll admit that I’m a noobie when it comes to Starbucks. When I go out to grab a coffee, it’s usually at a Canadian chain called Second Cup, so I have no idea what’s good at ‘bucks, and I have a feeling I’ll be spending a decent amount of time there after I move…

I noticed when i went for a morning run this week that it was so much darker in the morning! The days are definitely getting shorter! My favourite season is Summer, so I will be sad to see it go 😦 But I do like the colors of fall, I just hate the pants!

    • August 9, 2011 7:12 pm

Yeah, it’s not as bright out when I’m falling asleep either – but that’s a good thing. And I can deal with the pants… I don’t like the socks!

  4. August 9, 2011 5:27 pm

SUMMER is my fave season!! I just ❀ the weather!! But fall DEFINITELY has the best foods…PUMPKIN yaaay!! πŸ˜€

Starbucks is ALL about the soy cappuchinos (totally spelled that wrong! :P) with lots and lots of chocolate sprinkled on top of course πŸ˜‰

ONLY 37 DAYS WOOO!! Now I'm counting down too haha!!!

  6. August 9, 2011 5:39 pm

Oh no, I’m SO excited for Fall!!!!

  7. August 9, 2011 5:41 pm

YAY! we’re going to celebrate everyday with you!! You can be as excited as you want πŸ™‚
and I love love love pumpkin. I’m actually baking my pumpkin pie tomorrow for my parents’ birthday πŸ™‚
Fall is definitely my favorite season, I love jeans and light jackets, the foods, the holidays.. it’s my favorite!!

  8. August 9, 2011 5:41 pm

Wahoo! A Starbucks outside your place?? One conclusion: your apartment was meant to be. πŸ™‚
I’ve only recently discovered the beauty that is canned pumpkin, I ate so much of it today! It’s gonna be all over my WIAW post tomorrow too haha Let’s just hope I don’t turn orange! πŸ˜›

Oh, having a Starbucks nearby is NOT a good thing for me. So tempting. I walk by one SMACK in the middle of campus every day for class. Especially when its either very cold (hot drink, please!) or very hot (iced drink, please!), it takes all my power not to blow all my (parents’) cash on it. I could (sort-of) justify it last two semesters since I was on a dining plan with extra dining cash to blow (else it disappears into oblivion rather than the sensible thing of carrying over into the next semester), but that’s not the case this year. Maybe I should put a Starbucks plan into action. Once a week? Twice a week? Once a day? AHHH!

Pimped-out rice cake. Har. I, for some reason, imagined driving a rice cake when you said that. Like ‘Pimp My Ride’. Did you get that show up North? Oh, boy. What a show.

That. Bread. Need. Now. But alas, I must wait a few more days to have an oven…

My favorite season is by-far Spring! I love Autumn, too- but I’m always looking more forward to the warmer weather than I am upcoming cold weather. I’ve never been too big’a fan of Winter. Except the holidays. The lights and colors and snow and family! Eeee!

OK GIRLIE! Here come my Starbucks favorites. Ready? READY!

    – Unsweetened soy chai tea latte with vanilla syrup. Iced or hot. Both heavenly. My all-time favorite at the moment. But you already knew that… har.
    – Mocha chip frap used to be a favorite in middle school, before I had a strong liking for coffee. All their fraps are good, honestly. Though I’m more keen to the traditional drinks nowadays.
    – Unsweetened passion tea or unsweetened passion tea lemonade (iced) are also deeeeelish on a hot day. The sweetened versions are too sweet for me personally. And you KNOW it’s sweet if it’s too sweet for me. Eeep.
    – Ristretto (sweet espresso shots, not available at older locations usually) americano with caramel syrup and soy milk. Nomnomnom.

Really, everything’s good. But you simply must get a chai tea latte… AHHHH! I had one today. So good. Their chai is verrryyy nicely spiced.

    • August 9, 2011 7:32 pm

I knew I could count on you for some SB lovin’ πŸ˜€ I’m definitely going to have to try that chai tea latte after hearing you rave about it so much, but if I get addicted and end up going broke, I’m holding you accountable!

  10. August 9, 2011 5:46 pm

Fall is the best season…ever ( my bday happens to be in September too though haha). I had an intense pumpkin craving acouple weeks ago. I went through 2 cans in like 1 week πŸ™‚ I love to order those Vivano smoothies at Starbucks, also the Passionfruit tea is amazing!

You’re ALLOWED to be excited- moving into your own place for the 1st time I fun stuff!
Autumn is probably my favourite month- the colours, falling leaves, getting the wooly jumpers out etc, but winter is tempting with christmas ‘n all- its just too dang cold! And my birthday is in Autumn- so obviously the season I was born in is going to be the best;)
I rarely go to Bux , I’m not exactly a coffee fan. sometimes I get a mocha or caramel lite frappacino, that’s quite yummy.
That banana bread truly does look blissful- obviously it was amazing cos its got choccy chips in, the pictures are all stunning!
    Xxx

  12. August 9, 2011 5:55 pm

LOVE the pimped out rice cake, can you come pimp one of my rice cakes, HAHA! : )

Ok, I need to come visit you , for real!!! Would be so much fun!

My favorite drinks at starbucks –

    – Skinny Vanilla Latte with soy
    – coffee with steamed soymilk , I add my own stevia
    – caramel frappucino light, hold the whipped cream ( im not a whipped cream fan )
    – Iced Green tea unsweetened

    Muah! Have a fabulous night!!!!!!!!

  13. August 9, 2011 5:56 pm

I am so excited for you! Moving in day is right around the corner!
I love the fall season for the colors, the delicious produce and of course fall sunflowers! But i too enjoy the summer or the warm weather, sunshine and eatimg outdoors on my porch! Those are my favorite seasons!
I don’t go go Starbucks too oftem – i actually prefer to make my own coffee using my Keurig but when i go i usually get the unsweeteded Passion tea – it is really great cold on a warm summer day!

I’m right there with you, dear! I am absolutely infatuated with autumn. All the beautiful smells, the changing of the leaves, the fashion, the vegetables, the baking, oh and my very favorite–all things pumpkin. ❀
Only, it actually feels like autumn here these days more and more!
And though fall brings cooler weather, it warms me inside to even think of it!

I'm a religious coffee-drinker though I'll admit I am bit boring when it comes to how i like it–black.

Oh and trust me, before we moved into our house, I was just as excited…i think it's completely normal to be!

  15. August 9, 2011 6:01 pm

I do love fall- the fresh, crisp air, gorgeous colors, delicious produce (hello apples!) but it’s that whole winter thing that follows fall which I despiseeeee! i am always freezing cold, and it’s just too darn dreary for my liking 😦
Although, I do enjoy cuddling near a nice warm fire with a cup of hot chocolate when its chilly out during the winter… so nice and cozy πŸ˜€
I am newb too when it comes to starbucks, so not to worry Amanda! I usually order a “skinny” vanilla latte (made with skim milk) or just a plain old hot tea

    • August 9, 2011 7:53 pm

I’m not a fan of winter either, especially the kind that we get up here in The Great White North, but if it could just stay Fall for like 6 months, I’d be a happy camper πŸ˜€

  16. August 9, 2011 6:05 pm

white chocolate mocha’s with soy is def my favorite, but it’s definitely a colder weather drink.

arizona is still in the 100’s so i havent gotten that fall bug yet or the desire to bake and heat my kitchen up more! but i cant wait till it cools down here, me loves to bake!

so excited for you and your new place! its going to be amazing.

  17. August 9, 2011 6:07 pm

    Pumpkin Spice Latte πŸ™‚

  18. August 9, 2011 6:13 pm

I’m a starbucks addict, but last night I went to petes coffee last night and got a rasberry mocha and oh my lanta was it incredible! I usually just get plain coffee but I knew I couldn’t resist a raspberry mocha πŸ™‚
So excited for your new place!! Can’t wait to see your decor skills πŸ˜‰

  19. August 9, 2011 6:15 pm

I LOVE fall…and I really enjoy warmer weather. I’m not a huge fan of winter. The only time I enjoy it is through the holiday season and then I’m totally over the coldness. I wish I could live somewhere that had summer, fall, and spring. That would be perfect! As for starbucks, I enjoy ordering a non-fat latte and then topping it with cinnamon. If I’m gonna get starbucks I’m gonna splurge a little and get something other than regular coffee πŸ™‚

  20. August 9, 2011 6:15 pm

so excited for you, girl! and I can’t wait until i see your new digs πŸ™‚ i love fall too (sept is my bday month and my birthday is the 1st official day of fall). there’s something so warm and inviting about it–cuddly season and all. strange but i don’t go to starbucks (unless it’s to steal wifi–i’m a bad girl–haha), not a big coffee drinker…i love tea though!

  21. August 9, 2011 6:16 pm

Ahh im so upset that summer is almost over.
For most bloggies, it’ll mean starting to work harcore! but for this girlie, it means high school for the first time! I’m so nervous!!!
and beeteedubs, i really want a bite of that pudding… πŸ™‚

  22. August 9, 2011 6:18 pm

Starbuck’s next to my building would be serious trouble!! But you are such a lucky duck! I have been eating pumpkin lately too. I miss it!

  23. August 9, 2011 6:19 pm

Hi there …. my favorite season is usually fall but haven’t gotten to experience it in about 10 years! You have to give up fall for no winter…I love living where it’s always sunny but fall is so fun – changing leaf colors, hot cider, amazing boots that you get to pull out of your storage and wear again…scarves… πŸ™‚ Not sure if you saw my 1st ever guest post today…it’s an all veggie recipe…thought you might like it! xoxo from Trinidad

  24. August 9, 2011 6:21 pm

I always say summer, but the last few years I really have started to enjoy fall. Pumpkin and apples, football games, sweatshirts and jeans…bring it on!!
Starbucks, I am a plain person just go for decaff with four splendas.

  25. August 9, 2011 6:25 pm

My favorite season is Winter because it’s home to Christmas and my birthday, which is December 21. But it would be my favorite season even if my birthday wasn’t in December. I just love the flavors, colors, clothes, and festive decorations of Winter. I’m definitely ready for Summer to be over and Fall to begin! As for Starbucks, I don’t drink coffee like I used to, so I don’t really get much from Starbucks anymore. I used to get their Pike’s Place coffee, or iced green tea!

By the way, I just bought rice cakes yesterday because one of your recent posts reminded me of how much I love them when they’re all decked out! The one you ate today is practically making me drool over the oozy honey.

    • August 9, 2011 8:22 pm

I love winter in December, and especially around Christmas, but then mid January hits and I’m so over the cold and dark. Blah. And I totally forgot how much I loved rice cakes too. That one was soooo good that I went back for a second helping later on in the day πŸ˜€

My favorite thing at Starbucks is a soy hot chocolate. Very fall πŸ™‚

  27. August 9, 2011 6:26 pm

EeeeEEeeeeeEEEEe 15 more days for me! So exciting, eh? I hope that everything goes super-smoothly for you :).

Oh my goodness, only one season!? I love them all and I will probably have a different answer every time I get asked. I think I prefer winter and summer, versus the “in between” seasons. Right now I’m totally loving the wonderful warmth of the summer, but I’m looking forward to the crisp beauty of winter too (and I may as well like it, I’m in Alberta – 6 months of winter per year at least. And I’m moving to Montreal….so not exactly any better :p ).

  28. August 9, 2011 6:30 pm

you just made me want pumpkin. and practically be able to smell fall. yes, fall has a smell. this makes me nervous…because i hate being cold! (and this is where you say, “well you’re the one who lives in the northeast,” lol)

although i guess it’s hard to say what my favorite season is, because all my life i look forward to summer most because it means no school. and having freedom. but i wonder – would spring or fall be my favorite if it meant no school, too?! life as i know it is now being questioned…haha

  29. August 9, 2011 6:36 pm

Early fall is TOTALLY my favorite time of year! I love when the humidity leaves – and the days are comfortable and crisp! In New England, we have beautiful foliage – and it is SO amazing to drive through the country and look at all of the beautiful colors! We also go apple picking.. and I put myself to work in the kitchen trying to create deliciousness!
Pumpkin is a flavor that I have recently started enjoying – and I can’t wait until it is in its PRIME season!

  30. August 9, 2011 6:50 pm

Hahahaha I crack up everytime I read your EEEeeeeEEEE! I’d be feeling the same way though so totally feel that πŸ™‚
Fall is my favourite season as well, especially because it comes right as I’m tired of summer- I love fall fashion, chunky knits and maroon and tights and I love how the leaves turn and all the delicious squashes come back into season!

  31. August 9, 2011 6:53 pm

    That is exciting!

I usually get a decaf iced coffee- caffeine makes me far to jittery! Then in the winter, I love to get a slice of pumpkin bread!

  33. August 9, 2011 7:07 pm

I love fall! mainly fall flavors – they’re definitely my favorite! It’s been a serious effort not to buy foods that arent in season πŸ™‚

  34. August 9, 2011 7:20 pm

Fall is my favorite.. Oct is my fav month πŸ™‚ Hahaha lovin’ those plates, too! At the ‘bucks, I love ordering pumpkin spice frappuccinos. Such an addiction.

  35. August 9, 2011 7:36 pm

I completely feel you with this one! I’m counting down the days until fall because I love the season so much. Nothing beats the cozy feeling and the Christmas time feeling is even better!

  36. August 9, 2011 7:39 pm

Fall is my absolute #1 favorite season! You were spot on when you wrote “The beautiful colors. The coziness. The intoxicating smell in the air…” I couldn’t have said it better myself! In fact, I totally brought out the canned pumpkin a few days ago and have been eating it daily since πŸ™‚

Oh and the Tazo teas at Sbucks are delicious. My favorites are Wild Sweet Orange and Passion.

    Congrats on the new place!

  37. August 9, 2011 7:45 pm

Haha you seem to have some seasonal confusion! That’s okay, i eat pumpkin every day, so I guess I do too. I really like fall because it’s cross country season. The weather is perfect for the sport and I love competing! Oh and the fact that fall flavors are the best.
Your starbucks is awfully cute with that patio area! I personally am not a huge fan of starbucks, at least not their coffee. If I go there I like their banana chocolate vivanno! Oh and the pumpkin spice lattes that come out in the fall… swoooooon!

okay one more thing: I spy a rice cake with almond butter. If you haven’t already, you must try topping it with cottage cheese (i like it with cinnamon and vanilla). so. freaking. good.

    • August 9, 2011 10:16 pm

I was THIS close to going the cottage cheese route, but I really wanted something ooey and gooey. There’s always tomorrow though πŸ˜€

      • August 10, 2011 8:53 am

Have you ever had cottage cheese under the broiler, all bubbly and gooey? OH MY GOSH.

        Wahhhhhh, lactose.

        Poo.

  38. August 9, 2011 7:57 pm

    Cinnamon Dolce Soy Misto!!
I promise you will be PRAISING me after trying this!

  39. August 9, 2011 8:13 pm

I’m all about starbucks venti skinny soy vanilla no-foam latte mmmmm.

  40. August 9, 2011 8:15 pm

Fall is my favorite too!!! The crisp air makes everybody wake up from their summer heat-slump, and holiday excitement can begin…the colors are incredible, there’s pumpkin and apple and cider and cinnamon scents (and there’s nothing better than that!), there’s baking and cross-country season and it’s never excessively rainy or freezing….yeah I can’t wait πŸ™‚

I’m a pretty simple coffee girl so if I find myself at an sbux its usually black coffee with a shot of flavor syrup. BUT during the holiday season, you MUST try the pumpkin spice latte, gingerbread latte, and eggnog latte (which you can get w/ soymilk!)!

  41. August 9, 2011 9:14 pm

Oh my, I want me some pumpkin now. & Christmas music
I’m excited for you to move in, but be careful about the sbucks, it becomes an addictive habit and you may or may not start a new habit of making a purchase EVERY day. It adds up! 44. August 9, 2011 9:36 pm

I’m kinda sad that fall’s coming up, because I adore summer! I just live for the warm weather and sunshine, plus my birthday being in July is a bonus. And I love summer clothes more than anything, especially fun dresses and sandals. But fall is probably my second favorite season.

I would love to live that close to a Starbucks, but it probably would suck for my wallet πŸ˜‰ I love their skinny or soy iced lattes and the light frapps. The holiday drinks are too good to pass up, though!

  45. August 9, 2011 9:50 pm

I crave pumpkin all summer long. No associations with fall at all. In the past pumpkin was considered Christmas food but now I can eat anytime. How about some well cooled pumpkin salad with cottage cheese or cream cheese? Mmm… Love it!

I don’t know which my favorite season is but it is not spring. When it’s summer, I love winter the most. When it’s winter, I love summer. Fall is neutral. Spring is the only season I don’t like regardless of when I am asked.

  46. August 9, 2011 9:50 pm

You may find yourself spending lots of $$$ on coffee once you move in! haha
I live around the corner from my work (im a barista at a coffee shop similar to starbucks) and luckily for me I get free coffee, otherwise I think I would be spending so much on coffee.
Seriously, some people come in and get the largest size, extra caramel, triple shots at least two times a day. And I just think, wow.. how you can you afford that?
My favourite drinks are usually a hot or iced chai latte on soy milk, or a simple americano (long black) with soy on the side. I use to be obsessed with white chocolate mochas though, at work we even put white chocolate flakes on top that melt and get all gooey and delicious.

That photo you took of that cup is so pretty. Your photos are always so good.
Ohh banana bread with chocolate chips? that sounds beyond amazing.

  49. August 10, 2011 12:02 am

I don’t usually drink coffee at Starbucks. I think the whole brand is slightly overrated. I’d much rather settle for a coffee in a small, quaint coffee shop.

My favorite season is undeniably summer. I love the heat, the ice-cream afternoons and long, light evenings. Ah, I’m so sad it’s almost over 😦

    • August 10, 2011 8:07 am

I’ve never been big on SB either, which is why I have no idea what to order there πŸ˜† I might have to look around to see if there are any quiet, hole-in-the-wall coffee shops around.

While I like summer too, it kind of makes me happy when it get dark earlier and everything is just warm and cosy inside, and cold and.. cosy outside πŸ˜€

I love summer so much, I look forward to it all year long and mourn it when it’s over. Fun, light clothes, sunshine, breezy warm evenings, Christmas season – it’s the whole festival lifestyle it brings.
I think I must live in one of the few cities in the world where Starbucks is yet to make an appearance. All the hundreds of different combinations and varieties you can order for one coffee makes me laugh! But when I’ve been in the US I think it was just a non-fat soy macchiato that did it for me. Yum!

    • August 10, 2011 9:10 am

I’ve always found it so strange how Americans and Canadians love the Fall (We call it Autumn :P). That’s always been my least favourite month. Right up there with Winter. Is it because many of the big holidays fall around then? I just dooooooooon’t get it!

I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Summer. Our Summers here aren’t all that extreme so it doesn’t get uber uncomfortable or anything. Although I have to say Winter here at the moment is reminding me a lot about Summer!!

I tell everyone that I have no season censor because no matter whether its spring, summer, winter, or fall, I will ALWAYS be incorporating harvest-y meals into my day. I have a slight fixation with anything pumpkin so that might have something to do with it…

Speaking of which! During the November months you NEED to try the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks! It’s a seasonal drink, so I wait all year long for this baby. Completely worth it though πŸ˜‰
The green tea latte is also a favorite of mine too!

That pumpkin combo…wowww. I’m recreating that!! I’m all over pumpkin and Fall flavors at the moment. I’m over Summer!! Fall is definitely my fave – pumpkin, squash, gingerbread, cinnamon…mmmm LOVE it πŸ™‚
Ooohh being that close to Starbucks is going to be DANGEROUS hahaa!! Argh I really want to try all the fancy flavors you guys get over there like the pumpkin spice lattes etc, we don’t get all the yummy sounding ones that I want grrr! The most exciting one we get is probably a gingerbead latte. My favorite one (that I can get all year everywhere) is just a simple americano with sugar-free vanilla syrup and a side of soy. But I WILL try a special one someday when I go abroad!

Fall is definitely my favourite season! I love the cozy fashions, Thanksgiving, squash and root vegetables, fall hikes, going apple picking… ahh, it’s making me excited just thinking about it!

I’m such a bad Canadian… I almost never go to Second Cup haha. πŸ˜› I love vanilla lattes from Starbucks!

I’m a fall freak. Love love love it. This summer has been exceptionally good though, so I will be a little sad to see it go. Thank goodness I have fall to look forward to. Actually, I thought it felt fall-ish outside this morning when I was leaving the gym. Wishful thinking? Hmmmm… possibly

WINTER. I’m a Christmas junkie, so the only reason fall is great is because Christmas is that much closer. No judgment here for celebrating early with your reindeer plate.
Iced americano from Starbucks when it’s hot outside. Chai or pumpkin nonfat latte when it’s cold out. Anything but their coffee!

Just out of curiosity, I’d be interested in your take on this string of comments…

I mean, I don’t want to put you on the spot, and I know you’ve tried to address this in some previous posts… but… I don’t know :\

Gah! I’m feeling Fallish too and this post just made me even MORE excited for it! πŸ™‚

I’m definitely a summer girl! I love the warm evenings and lingering sunsets. I love grilling veggies outside and jumping in a pool afterwards. I love being able to slip on one or two pieces of clothing, sliding my feet into flip-flops and looking *somewhat* put together (in under two minutes!). BUT, I also loooove the comfort that comes with fall. The warm, spicy smells that permeate from the kitchen during this time of year are aaahmaazing. And somehow food always tastes better to me when it’s cold outside. πŸ™‚

Oh, and then there’s Christmas…and adorable reindeer plates (love yours!). I use my Santa mug year-round. He makes me smile in the morning no matter what the season. πŸ˜€

hey i was looking at your recipe for banana bread and i was wondering — why don’t you use oil in your baking?

  63. August 10, 2011 8:29 am

Autumn is my favorite season all the way! It’s so festive and there’s pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger. Can’t wait! Plus the weather is cool which is always nice. It’s always super exciting because Christmas is coming too πŸ˜€ My favorite thing at Starbucks is a soy latte! I haven’t tried anything fancy from there yet, except for the iced green tea latte. It’s was really good, but a little too sweet. I think they should be able to cut the sweetener out though. I’m so excited for you!! I love countdowns haha.

I’m putting in my 60 day notice today…i can’t live with this girl anymore…the bugs, the damp, no air, oh god the bugs and stuff…not good for me now…

those enjoy life granola bars…i heat them up in microwave for 10 seconds and they get soft, and chewy and dump them in yogurts, etc…good.

hehe I love how you suggested to meet up by your new condo. I would’ve probably done the same thing πŸ˜‰
I usually stick with the same things in any coffee shops I go to…a coffee (iced in the summers) with a splash of soy. Decaf if it’s after noon. So pretty much what you had πŸ™‚

I totally got bit by the baking bug yesterday too! I wanted to make gingersnaps, but since they were such a fall/winter-y goody I settled for something else. My favorite season is definitely fall, well more like winter where I live, since that’s when we get our fall weather. But I love that time when I can start pulling out those sweaters, scarves, and boots, and feeling that cool breeze through the air. I also like that feeling of breathing in a big breath of cool fresh air. ahhhh. Now I can’t wait for winter πŸ™‚

oh how I love Fall! I’m definitely looking forward to an abundance of pumpkin. It’s all about pumpkin everything for me. mmmm!

I like starbucks but most of the time I just make my own coffee, either hot or iced, at home. Saves me bunches of money, so I have more to spend on food, haha. But i really like their unsweetened iced teas…chai, green, any!

I lOVE FALL so muchhh!!!! I like summer, but not when it is unbearably hot and humid..spring is nice too πŸ™‚ so i guess everything but winter? which i actually like as well sometimes..haaha guess i just like it all.

LOVE starbucks- I actually am a huge fan of a simple misto with coffee, soy and sugar free vanilla..it tastes so good!

  68. August 10, 2011 12:59 pm

Fall has always been my favorite season, but in the past couple years I’ve slowly started to like summer more! I just hate being cold, and fall means that winter is coming. Though, I love winter because its Christmastime and that’s the absolute BEST time of year. πŸ™‚ So I guess I’m just indecisive.

I used to be obsessed with Starbucks… I haven’t gotten one in over a year though! During the winter I would always get either the pumpkin spice or the gingerbread latte. And during the summer I would get a mocha frappachino!

  69. August 10, 2011 2:00 pm

Wheeee LOVE fall! Definitely my favorite season, especially at the beginning when it’s still sunny but there’s a cool breeze. Plus, I have an excuse to go fall clothes shopping which are my favorite clothes to buy!

I always just get coffee or green tea or ICED coffee. Yummy! I honestly sometimes just sit in starbucks for the smell. Weirdo…

    That bread looks amazing!!

I love love love Summer, but that moment between Summer and Fall is purely magical. Perfect temperatures πŸ™‚ And I’m ridiculously excited for the return of the pumpkin spice latte at the Bux. But when it’s not pumpkin spice season, I go for the chai, soy with just two pumps. Yum!

  71. August 11, 2011 1:11 am

I am soooo with you on the fall thing, I’m just so over this summer, well, you can’t call what we’ve had in the UK summer really but I can not wait for the fall!

  72. August 11, 2011 8:11 pm

I like summer the most in Oregon at least because it doesn’t rain and the weather is always perfect. Fall is when it’s really beautiful, but it’s raining. Boooo.

I still love summer, even though I have summer classes. Oh the joys of student life.

White chocolate soy mocha. Do it. Good for you? No. Delicious? Yes. Since you’re Canadian, Blenz makes the same thing and it might even be a little cheaper than $tarbucks. No clue about Second Cup, though.
